Life is not a rat race

Lets understand it with reason and accept it with grace

Compete, you must, but with yourself first,

drive the momentum with with your own steps' thrust

Of course you'll find every kind of runners,

some would be in a hurry while some would happy sloggers,

You might be ahead of few and few might be ahead of you,

but the point you must acknowledge is that you are walking too,

If every step we place is firm and swift,

If our stride is fixed and is free from any drift

If we can learn from others and treat it as a playful game,

If we can guide our every step, faster towards the cherished aim,

We need not doubt that we will attain our goal,

As we have already given it, our heart, body and soul!
